Subject: Fw: I NEED YOUR HELP
G'day All,
I need your help to fill in the gaps, for a long time I have
been gathering information from various area's such as Veterans’
magazines, the RSL, DFWA, Military Website etc, [in fact I would
have approx1500 on file waiting for confirmation]however most of
them don't normally list the date of death of the Veteran.
In fact the RSL"s do not even list the conflict (WW2, Korea, Vietnam
etc,) some do not even note the service number of the
deceased, making it very difficult to identify the veteran.
Unfortunately there are a large number of Veterans listed on the
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Website that need to have dates and the
age of their passing.
I ask that you look at the list
20110531 Mortality Without Units Recent Inclusions.xls and
the Mortality With Unit's file on the website
20110531 Mortality
With Units.xls for those men and women that you served with in
Vietnam, of the
61new entries there are 33 that require additional information.
Please do not let them be forgotten.
Regards,
John H
PS My apologies if you have already received this
email.
