ex-WO1 Derek Townrow died yesterday at age 80 in Melbourne.

He was orderly room Sgt at Balcombe for some years then went to D Sigs where he stayed for a

      long time.

He was one of the first UK enlistees to come out in the early 50s.

He served with 110 Sig Sqn in SVN and 9 Sig Regt in Singapore.

He will be cremated in Melbourne and his ashes brought up to Canberra.

I do not know of any service other than that in Melbourne nor when it is to occur.

Dont know if you already had this info but thought it might be of interest to the Assn
