The follow information has just been forwarded by Bob Richardson.

It is with regret that I advise the sudden passing of Thomas William Strange. Tom suffered a massive heart attack at home last Sunday 9th April. Has been laid to rest at a private ceremony and cremation on Wednesday. Sorry for the delay in notification, but Tere only notified me last night. They had both prearranged between them that any notifications were to be kept private till after private family ceremonies were held. I've had a close relationship with Tom over the years and I was most distressed to learn of his passing long after the event. I have conveyed our condolences to Tere and will now follow up with a formal card and sash. I have arranged the welfare matters accordingly.

It is with sadness that I report that Geoff Beggs, 20th intake electrician, passed away last Wednes! day after an 18 month battle with cancer. I am sure that condolences from us all go out to his family and mates. I hope you all have a great ANZAC Day and renew old acquaintances. If you don’t march then consider doing so, otherwise this great tradition will fade away or be swamped by groups who do not truly represent the ANZAC forces and our traditions. Finally, if you know of anyone who is not on my email list and wishes to be, please have them send a note to me at Frank.Poole@bigpond.com.
