TVM for the heads up and well done in gleaning the
support you deservedly appear to have raised - wish I could have done the same
with a petition I had going some months ago...just waiting to get an OK from
THAT webmaster as to whether or not I can use the petition still, and if so, you
will certainly be one of my recipients.it's to do with wee willy crews speaking
'on behalf of everyone in the RSL- which he may well do quite legally. But he
puts the boot into the subject [long before he thinks about it] when he opens
his mouth.
I AM aware of the Brig Rolfe Conflict of interest
matter, BUT I do not think it would be wise to raise it very publicly ie en
masse, so to speak, as he apparently is one of the best Shiang-Kai- Sheks
that ever breathed God's air. He is previously both unblemished and'
unblemishable', to coin a new word. I believe that any 'criticism [of
him]out thare', could be greeted with righteous howls of blue murder. I believe,
but do not know what his background is/was, but he happens to be held in high
esteem by most...................or so \i understand, so gently, gently,
carefully - just a friendly, if drawn out, wng Cobber.,
You may well know about him and of him much more
than I. I have no knowledge of him at all, other than that he appears to
be 'lionised' a bit, which is bit unusual these days of non-heroes, and
poor qual. ex/rtd generals that are around - like flies at a meat
pie

helpers to enable us to open the issue up very
strongly.
As quickly as I can I will add to

can:
- Write to VRB &
AAT chiefs re their lack of independence.
- Write to
politicians asking them to raise the issue with the
PM
- An allied question
is whether it is appropriate for Brig Rolfe to remain as Services
Commissioner. (He was VRB head for approx 9 years)
- There are other
issues that can be developed from those court records of AAT
proceedings.
