My reasons for seeking to have the matter referred to the Chief Justice of the High Court:

  1. Veterans have fought, died, and been injured for the “preservation of democracy”.
  2. An essential part of democracy is the legal system.
  3. An essential part of the legal system is the “Doctrine of the Separation of Powers”.
  4. The Doctrine of the Separation of Powers is being circumvented.
  5. The Chief Justice of the High Court is a person of the highest integrity.
  6. Questions concerning contempt of the High Court can only be resolved by the High Court.
  7. Contempt proceedings could be initiated by the High Court.
  8. The powers of the High Court are legislated and if they need to be changed to accomplish these matters the legislation can be changed.
  9. Enquiries or commissions convened by the government of the day (either major party) will be manipulated
