There are a couple of "PSYOPS" (Psychological Operations) available.
They probably would be very effective with the help of a relatively small number of people, a bit like a guerrilla operation. They are:
Politicians for whom you vote.
Within the large political parties information flows down from the top. Content is controlled. It's usually what the political hierarchy want the public to believe. It's not necessarily accurate or honest. Sending a hard copy of the "Lodgement" letters and accompanying documents provides information which can bubble up from the bottom. Sending printed material by ordinary mail is a better option than email. The politicians ( or their office staff) have to physically do something with printed material. They can't just click and delete the material. If enough veterans send material it will create a visible indicator of the extent of the concern.
Send a copy of the material accompanied by a polite request from you, as a constituent of theirs, asking them to ensure that the issues make it to court. Only send it to politicians for whom you vote. This will be your MHR and the Senators from your State.
Claims assessors within DVA
If you are involved in dealing with DVA on behalf of veterans you could send a copy of the "Lodgement" letters and accompanying documents to the DVA staff who write to you. You could draw their attention to the fact, that as "Delegates of the Repatriation Commission", any legal liability concerning how they process claims rests with them. It will be in their own interests to obtain independent legal advice.
